As Android powered mobile handsets conquer the market, Nokia unveils their last hope, or hopes – Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710. Both Nokia Lumia mobile handsets apparently compete with Android powered handsets and are cool looking smartphones powered by Microsoft Windows phone 7.5 Mango Operating systems.

These are the key features of the new Nokia Lumia handsets. Both handsets have many features in common, such as the chipset, processing units, graphics processing units, RAM etc. The significant difference is in the camera specifications with Nokia Lumia 800 having an 8 Megapixel camera while Nokia Lumia 710 sports only a 5 Megapixel one. Reportedly, both handsets lack secondary camera meaning no video conference. But both smartphones offer recording videos with 720p HD quality.

Both Nokia Lumia smartphones come with WAP 2.0 Browsers and GPS. Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango is a common operating system in Lumia 800 and 710. Reportedly, Nokia Lumia 710, the bigger yet lighter one among the two, comes in a number of attractive colours. Nokia Lumia 800, quite big weighing about 142 grams, comes in 3 colours – Black, Cyan and Magenta. Both smartphones offer quite decent talk time in both 2G and 3G networks.

Price details as per information obtained by GSMArena claims that Nokia Lumia 800 has a price tag of Rs 30,000/- approximately in India while Nokia Lumia 710 will be priced Rs 19,000/- approximately in India.  Nokia has high hopes for both handsets which already have great publicity, considering the fact that Nokia has made a lot of larger than life promotion events.
