Announced back in IFA 2014 tech show along with the Lumia 730, the latest Lumia 830 has been finally launched in India. The company has also launched the Lumia 730 Dual SIM phone as well in India today.

The Lumia 830 can be bought in bright orange, bright green, white and black color options at the price of Rs. 28,799.

The phone comes with a Nokia's popular PureView camera, via which you can take a picture and sync your digital life with OneDrive and share special moments on your favorite social network as well.

Nokia Lumia 830: Key Specifications

The Nokia Lumia 830 sports a 5-inch ClearBlack IPS-LCD Curved (2.25D) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and offers an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with a 1GB of RAM. It runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS with Lumia Denim update.

Internal storage seats at 16GB, and it is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

The smartphone comes with a massive camera. It features 10MP AutoFocus PureView camera with Zeiss optics, OIS and LED flash and is capable of shooting video at 1080p quality. At the front there is a lesser 1MP snapper.

The Lumia 830 supports 4G LTE/ 3G HSPA+, 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and NFC. It also has a Nokia Rich Recording with Surround Sound audio facility.

The smartphone that measures 8.5 mm thick and weighs 150 grams draws its energy from a 2200mAh battery. The phone also supports Qi wireless charging.

The latest Lumia 830 comes with a relatively better specs compared to the Lumia 730 Dual SIM. However, if you look at the Android market, at the same price, you will get a far better specs. Thus, the Lumia 830 is likely to face a bit of a challenge.
