Nokia Lumia 900 Spotted Running on Windows Phone 7.8 [VIDEO]
It was only days ago that some features of Windows Phone 7.8 OS were leaked. Now a short video clipon the update seen running on a Nokia Lumia 900 has appeared online.
The video, 37 seconds long, seemed to be a tease with no detailed tour of the new update’s features. However, one can get a view of the resizable live tiles which is a feature of Windows Phone 8. The update seemed to be fast as well as smooth on Nokia Lumia 900. One can also see an Xbox icon. Other than that, not much else could be gleaned out of the video.
However, the release of the Windows Phone 7.8 update is slated to be in early 2013.
Windows 7.8 update will bring in a whole plethora of features of Windows Phone 8 to the Windows Phone 7.5 users. Some of these features include the resizable live tiles mentioned above, a whole range of accent colors, renewed Start screen as well as displaying the day’s Bing picture of the day on the lock screen of the handset. Microsoft has said that the update is being tested at the moment by both Microsoft and also its partners. The company has said it will begin rolling out the update early next year.
Microsoft has been under criticism for not providing the Windows Phone 7.5 users with the features of Windows Phone 8. However, with the update, the users will gain the main features from the point of view of consumer advantage, such as the new Start screen.
