Today, the eyes of all the tech enthusiasts will be on New York city, as the Finnish phone manufacturer along with Microsoft will be unveiling its next generation Lumia smartphones based on Windows Phone 8 OS.
With only a few hours left for the Nokia World 2012 to debut, the leaks about the upcoming Nokia smartphones are in full swing. According to the reports from numerous sources, the manufacturer will be launching the Lumia 920 – its flagship smartphone alongside Lumia 820.
Like any other highly anticipated product, the second generation Lumia handsets are also subjected to a lot of image leaks and rumors prior to the unveiling. The Twitter user @evleaks is in the news since quite sometime for bringing the pictures of the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 smartphones in the light. On Tuesday, the anonymous Twitter user came up with a render of the new Lumia smartphone with the wireless charging kit.
Now, the latest bit of information from the same source is a picture showing the the Lumia 920 handset in five color options. Last week, the tipster posted an image showing off the handset in three color options – red, yellow and grey, while now it adds the standard white and black color options. Along with this, the tipster has also posted the purple color option of the Lumia 820 smartphone.
From the recent image leak, apart from the color options, it shows the Windows Phone 8 homescreen and the placement of the power button, volume rocker and the physical camera shutter button on the right. The model looks like the previous Nokia smartphones, which are based on Windows Phone OS.
Coming to the rumored specifications of these smartphones, Lumia 920 will sport a 4.5 inch HD display, 1.5GHz dual core SoC processor, 1GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, 1.3MP front camera and 8MP rear camera, while Lumia 820 will have a 1.5GHz dual core processor and 8GB internal storage.
