Even before this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona, Spain kicked off, we have been hearing about several rumors related to a certain Nokia Lumia 930 device. Apparently, the device was also expected to make an appearance at the event.
However, while the MWC came and went, there was no mention about the device at the event. Even Nokia decided to focus all its energy at the newly announced Android-powered X series - consisting of Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL.
However, it seems like the device is back in contention once again with new rumors arriving for the same. According to the reports, the Nokia Lumia 930 model name belongs to the same Windows Phone-based device that's making rounds in the web under the name of Martini.
There are new rumors on the web today, thanks to @evleaks, that the phone codenamed Martini, will eventually be named the Nokia Lumia 930. And although no one is sure whether this Nokia Lumia 930 is the same device that all of us were expecting to be unveiled at MWC, but looking at the specifications, it seems more or less the same specifications we last saw for the Lumia 930.
Apparently, the device is said to arrive with quad-core 2.2GHz CPU support, 2GB of RAM, a 4.5-inch Full HD 1920×1080 display, microSD card slot, 16GB of internal storage, 20MP camera, and a 2,700mAh battery.
The Nokia Martini has itself been rumored to be a future Windows Phone 8.1 device. But sadly, nothing has been made final as of now.
