Nokia Lumia series has got a huge reception because of the fact that it is a Windows operating system based phone and also because of its very high spec list. The phone has also been very aggressively promoted. Nokia Lumia originally came in black, cyan and blue colours. Now following the success of the phones the company is launching new special editions.
Nokia had earlier announced the introduction of a new special edition Lumia 800. The phone will feature a special white colour scheme. This special edition was announced back in December and now the device will reach the retailers in a few days time.
Now there is new talk in the town about the launch of Nokia 900 and 910 Lumia models too in white edition.
Nokia 800 looked very attractive with its whole white look. The screen has black shading; the black and white contrast look in the front gives the phone a bold touch. Other than this change in colour all the other features and specifications of the phone are unchanged.
The same is expected when Nokia 900 Lumia white edition also comes out in the market. Nokia 900 is tipped to have an 8 megapixel camera with a Super AMOLED display too. The phone is expected to have most of the features of its sibling, Nokia 800.
Nokia 800 features a 3.7 inch display with a screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. There is corning gorilla glass covering over it and this makes the display very durable and protects it from scratches. The internal memory capacity is about 16 GB. The phone also has 512 MB of RAM. One small disadvantage is that it does not have any external memory slot. The camera is provided with Carl Zeiss optics and auto focus features and this allows the user to take very high quality pictures. A dual LED flash is also provided to take photos irrespective of the lighting conditions.
The phone runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system. The processor in it is a 1.4GHz Scorpion CPU. Adreno graphics processing unit is also provided in the phone. In the connectivity side the phone has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth as well as USB. The Bluetooth in it has A2DP connectivity and has enhanced data rate features. The multimedia player in the phone supports all the common file types and there is also an inbuilt FM radio.
However Nokia 900 is expected to have a much bigger battery, 1830 mAH compared to Nokia 800 model.
Since this phone will hit the stores in a few days time, Nokia Lumia 900 users are also expecting a similar special edition for their device.
