Nokia to release Windows Phone 8 Features for Lumia 800, 900 and 710 in 7.8 Update
Nokia has made it clear that it will not disappoint its existing Windows Phone 7.5 device users at a time when there is much hype going about Windows Phone 8 OS. The two new Windows Phone 8 devices Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 are getting ready for the market launch. In the mean time the company has announced the availability of Cinemagraph GIF-maker and some other key features for its existing range of Windows Phone 7.5 Nokia Lumia handsets including Lumia 900, Lumia 800 and Lumia 710.
The other key features to be included are a new contact sharing app and Bluetooth file transfer functionality.

- Updated contact sharing app designed to support sharing through Bluetooth
Nokia has also announced key upgrades to Windows Phone 7.5 based Nokia Lumia handsets which includes the ‘Smart Group Shot’ feature. Lumia handsets will also receive upgrades for the ‘ringtone maker app’. But this new update will be made available by the company only across ‘selected markets’.
Nokia has so far not announced the exact time frame for these updates to come through to the market. But they have claimed that the new features will be implemented in several phases. The company is also planning to release new games for its existing range of Lumia handsets. The games about to be released are ‘Words with Friends’ and ‘Draw Something’ by Zynga games.
With a range of upgrades including upgraded user interface, features and apps, Nokia has succeeded in giving special attention to its existing Lumia handsets. Some of the new apps to be included are Bloomberg, Groupon and WhatsApp.
