Nokia unveils 3 touchscreen Asha phones [Video]

Nokia has unveiled three touchscreen phones under the Asha series – Nokia Asha 305, Asha 306 and Asha 311. These devices sport a full capacitive touchscreen display with the new S40 Asha operating system. With these, the total number of phones in the Asha series will be 10.

The new S40 Asha interface provides a new and completely overhauled touch user interface. The devices will have the Nokia Browser 2.0 with the brand's cloud technology to reduce the data consumption by 90%. The consumers can enjoy cheaper and faster internet access anywhere without the support of third party browsers. The technology of Nokia will help the websites to load about three times faster.

Nokia Asha 305

The Asha 305 is a dual SIM handset with a 3 inch resistive touchscreen display. It comes with the Easy Swap feature that allows the users to swap the SIM cards easily without switching off the device. It has connectivity features like Bluetooth and Dual Band. There is a 2 MP camera with the fixed focus option. The price in India of Asha 305 is Rs 4,400.
