Finnish giant Nokia will hold its Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi on October 22. The makers behind Lumia 1020 could announce the much anticipated 6-inch display Full HD display phablet alongside the Window RT running tablet on October 22nd.
There are more chances to see the Lumia 1520, a 6-inch WP8 monster phone planned to take on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z Ultra. Nokia has confirmed that Abu Dhabi, the capital city of United Arab Emirates, will host this year's Nokia World. More details around Lumia 1520 will follow soon.
Well, we're aware about Nokia's forthcoming Lumia 1520. The phablet would be the first from the house of Nokia. There are leaked pictures of 6-inch FHD phone available all over the internet. The device would be made of polycarbonate plastic, and would resemble to current generation high-end Lumia handsets.
The leaked internal specifications of Lumia 1520 are as follows: a 6-inch FHD display having resolution of 1,920 X 1080 pixels, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of ROM (expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card), 20-mega pixel rear facing camera and a 2-mega pixel front facing camera, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and lastly a 3,400mAh Li Ion battery.
What's more? The upcoming Windows Phone 8 update, also known as General Distribution Release 3 (GDR3), will support quad-core processors, Full HD 1080p displays, and in terms of UI -expect a third column of medium sized live tiles on devices with larger screens.
Nokia is also planning to launch its first Windows RT 8.1 powered tablet. The Lumia 2520 would sport a 10.1 -inch Full HD IPS display. Codenamed "Sirius", the forthcoming tablet would be priced $499 (Rs. 32,400).
The tablet is said to be stuffed with a super fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM (expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card slot). The Lumia 2520 would also feature a 6.7-mega pixel PureView rear facing camera and a 2-mega pixel front facing camera.
