Nokia has already launched its first Android-based smartphone Nokia X in India today at the price of Rs. 8,599, but it is yet to announce the other two handsets falling in the X series viz. Nokia X+ and Nokia XL. But the good news is that the company, at today's event, also announced to make two of these smartphones available in India within the next 2 months.

All the three smartphones were unveiled a couple of weeks back at the International Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, Spain. The Nokia X is already available in India via several other e-retailers.

Nokia X+

This one comes with a 4-inch capactiive touch screen display offering a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 play (MSM8225) processor coupled with 768 MB RAM. It runs on Nokia X software platform 1.0 based on AOSP Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). There is a 4GB of Internal storage capacity which is expandable via microSD card slot. Besides being a Dual SIM handset, it also supports 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n,Bluetooth 3.0 and aGPS connectivity. The device which measures 115.5 x 63 x 10.44mm and weighs 128.6grams also features 3MP fixed focus rear camera and is powered by a 1500 mAh battery.

Nokia XL

Nokia XL features a bigger 5-inch capactiive touch screen display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 play (MSM8225) processor coupled with a same 768MB RAM and also runs on the same Nokia X software platform 1.0 based on AOSP Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It is also a Dual SIM handset with similar connectivity options like 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n,Bluetooth 3.0 and aGPS and same 4GB internal storage capacity with microSD card slot. The difference can be found in the Imaging section as it features a better 5MP auto focus rear camera. Measuring 141.3 x 77.7 x 10.8mm the device weighs 190 grams and is powered by a 2000 mAh battery.
