Nokia X Android Smartphone Officially Launched: Now Available in India at Rs 8,599

Nokia unveiled its latest Android-based X series of smartphones at the International Mobile World Congress 2014 couple of weeks back. It consists of Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL but the company has not released these devices in the market. However, the Nokia X Dual SIM has already been selling in India via online retailers like Saholic, eBay, at a different prices.

Nokia X Android Smartphone Now Available in India at Rs 8,599

But today the Finnish smartphone maker Nokia has officially launched the Nokia X smartphone in India at the price of Rs. 8,599. Although late, but this is the first Android-based handset coming from the company which originally is popular for Windows Phone smartphone.

Talking about the specs, the smartphone is available in Black, Red, Yellow and Cyan color variant. The Nokia X comes with a 4-inch WVGA display offering a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Processor, backed by 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. Moreover, the copmany is also offering 10GB of free storage in OneDrive.

There's a 3MP fixed focus camera on the rear side of the device. Besides being a dual SIM handset, it also supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS connectivity options. The makers have added a 1500mAh battery inside. The device can run Android Apps as it is based on Android platform.

Also the company says that the device comes with an access to more than a dozen of third party app stores. You will also find a signature Nokia apps like, Here Maps, MixRadio and others with also Microsoft Services like OneDrive, Bing and Skype.
