At the Mobile World Congress 2014, earlier this year, Nokia announced its new line-up of devices in the form of Nokia X series of handsets, which consists of Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL. The strongest point about these handsets are that they run on the company's latest Nokia X platform, which is based on Android OS.
While the devices are already made available online, we are yet to see more popularity for the device. Nonetheless, the devices are pretty affordable and all are now available in the Indian market.
Sticking to the Nokia+ for the time being, the device, currently available at Rs 8,190, features a 4-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor coupled with 768MB of RAM and houses an internal storage capacity of 4GB with microSD card support up to 32GB. There's a 3MP fixed focus camera on the rear side of the device.

Other connectivity options include: Dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS connectivity options. The makers have added a 1500mAh battery fitted inside. The phone runs Android OS, but the makers have added their own services on top of it.
However, users won't be able to access Google Play store, instead you have to rely on Nokia store. Nokia says 75% of Android apps will be usable on Nokia X.
