Chinese tech giant ZTE is planning to expand its Nubia range by launching a new flagship in India tomorrow. Yes, we are talking about, ZTE Nubia Z9 the company has hinted will be exclusively available on the e-retail store Amazon India.
Previously, Nubia Z9 was unveiled in China few days back and now the media invites for India launch has been sent already. The event will take place in New Delhi on May 19th.
Nubia Z9 - Key Specifications
The ZTE Nubia Z9, sports a 5.2-inch FHD IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixel along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Moreover, the Nubia Z9 is powered by a 64-bit capable Snapdragon 810 octa-core chipset with Adreno 430 GPU. Also, it comes in two variants, which is 32GB comes with 3GB RAM, 64GB comes with 4GB RAM under the hood.
Further on the imaging factor, Z9 flaunts a 16MP rear camera with Sony sensor, optical image stabilization, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and a 8MP front shooter with 80-degree wide viewing lens. It is powered by a 2,900mAh battery.
Reportedly, ZTE Nubia Z9 is available in three variants - the ZTE Nubia Z9 Classic, ZTE Nubia Z9 Elite, and ZTE Nubia Z9 Exclusive. The variants are based on different memory and inbuilt storage configurations, and the Exclusive variant also includes a fingerprint reader.
While the ZTE Nubia Z9 Classic is priced at CNY 3,499 (Rs. 36,000 approx.), the ZTE Nubia Z9 Elite and ZTE Nubia Z9 Exclusive are priced at CNY 3,999 (Rs. 41,200 approx.) and CNY 4,499 (Rs. 46,300 approx.) respectively.
Earlier this year, ZTE had also launched the Nubia Z9 Max and Nubia Z9 Mini, and these could also be expected to launch alongside the three Nubia Z9 variants already listed. The ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini is priced at CNY 1,499 (Rs. 15,000 approx.), while the ZTE Nubia Max is priced at CNY 2,499 (Rs. 25,100 approx.).
ZTE has already been teasing the launch of Zubia Z9 in India since a long time now by posting rear camera teasers on it's Facebook page. The company also tweeted about the launch recently mentioning Amazon India.
