The OnePlus 2 is scheduled to release in a few months from now, but the prototype of the smartphone have spotted in the benchmark this week.
The OnePlus 2 specs, features and couple of images have been already leaked online several times and now the smartphone apparently showed up in the Geekbench, confirming the some specification, which were previously leaked.
The smartphone on the benchmarking site was listed as OnePlus One bearing model number A2001, featuring 3GB of RAM and powered by Snapdragon 810 scoring the benchmark at 4093 points.
Recently, Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus, has posted on a social website Weibo, during a conversation with fans, that the next-generation smartphone form OnePlus will be taking advantage of a Snapdragon 810.
Comparing the OnePlus 2 benchmark result with other Geekbench results, it shows that OnePlus 2 will actually be able to perform good with leading high-end devices.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge with Exynos 7420 have scored 5215 and 5095 points respectively, while the HTC One M9 with same processor as OnePlue 2 has managed to get 3761 points.
So, the benchmark test by Geekbench has made it clear that the prototype of OnePlus 2 seem to be performing better than the HTC One M9.
According to the features listed by Geekbench, OnePlus 2 is expected to sport 5.5 inch or 6 inch display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.
