For months we've hearing rumors about a new OnePlus 2 smartphone to go along with a cheaper model, and this week the details are finally starting to take shape.
The Chinese handset manufacturer today sent out mysterious press invites to an event that will be held on April 20. The press invitation, first published online by PhoneArena, that reads,"From here on out, anything could happen. #NeverSettle," without providing any hints regarding the announcement.
Since the original OnePlus One was unveiled back in April 2014, it appears that the mysterious device is nothing but the OnePlus 2.
For months rumors have been back and forth regarding what we can actually expect to see from OnePlus While the initial rumors mentioned that the device would come with a smaller 5.2-inch dsisplay, all reports since then have suggested something completely different.
We're hearing that the OnePlus 2 could have a 5.5-inch QHD display, a Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM, expandable memory, fingerprint scanner and more.
At this point it's extremely hard to say what's going to be unveiled on April 20. We'll be updating this article with more OnePlus 2 information as we get it.
