This year, struggling tech giant Nokia ventured into affordable WP8 handsets. The world's second largest mobile phone maker didn't succeed in getting Lumia range as strong as Samsung Galaxy. But now the vendor has shifted to woo Android consumers with budget centric - Nokia 520, and mid tier Lumia 720. Both devices have been tagged as ‘coming soon ‘on Nokia India website. Nokia says that the Lumia 520 will be available in the first week of next month. While the latter handset - Nokia Lumia 720, will arrive in India in the mid -April.
As far pricing are concerned, the former device will dent Samsung terribly. It is expected to retail less than Rs.11, 000. While the Nokia Lumia 720 could be priced below Rs. 20,000 price mark. Interestingly, Samsung retails Galaxy Grand for Rs. 21,500.
However, now online retailer Saholic listed both Nokia Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 on its website. As per the listing price of both handsets have not been disclosed, but the availability indicates April 30, 2013. That means, the Nokia Lumia 720 will hit Indian market at the same time of Lumia 520. It is to be seen whether Nokia has planned the release date of Nokia Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 in such a manner or it is just another faux pas.
