Oppo Find 5 Ad Hints at 5-Inch 1080p Display, Quad Core Processor and December Launch [Video]

Remember Oppo Find 5? The highly anticipated Chinese smartphone that is slated to hit the retail shelves in December. There seems to be some interesting information about the specs of the handset as a video promo has been released by Oppo.

According a recent report by GizChina, the video mainly focuses on the development mobile phone displays starting from the basic handsets to the upcoming 5 inch full HD Display with a pixel density of 441 ppi. The video also reveals at the possibility of a 16MP rear camera. The report also suggests that Oppo Find 5 will have a quad core processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and will be uncovered on December 12, 2012.

Going by the earlier reports, Find 5 will house a quad core 1.5GHz processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 16GB onboard storage, dual SIM (3G+2G) and GPS with a-GPS. Moreover, Oppo Find 5 will be priced at $480 (approx. Rs 26,700) with no information about the global release date. However, analysts predict that the handset will be released in the western markets for $599 (approx. Rs 33,500).

However, Oppo Find 5 is not the first device that is being rumored to sport such a full HD display as there are ongoing rumors and speculations suggest that Samsung Galaxy S4, LG Optimus G2 and Sony Xperia Odin also flaunt 5 inch 1080p display with 441 ppi approximately. Further, HTC has already launched a device dubbed J Butterfly in Japan and Droid DNA in US with similar display.
