Along with the Find 7 smartphone which comes with the 5.5-inch QHD display, Oppo also announced the down-sized variant of the same handset called the Find 7a. As confirmed by the company officials, the Oppo Find 7a will be available in the market at a price of Rs. 31,990 in midnight black and white color variant starting tomorrow (June 12th).
Oppo Find 7a - Full Specifications
Although, the device is a stripped-down version of the Find 7, it doesn't come with any less specifications but can compete with most of the high-end smartphones. The only differences that one will find between the Find 7 and the Find 7a are the lesser processor clock, Full HD display (lesser), 16GB internal storage, lesser RAM and lesser battery capacity in the Find 7a.
To be precise, the Find 7a comes with a 5.5-inch, 1080p Full HD IPS display (1920 x 1080 pixels) churning out the pixel density of 403ppi and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad Core (MSM8974AB) and Adreno 330 coupled with 2GB RAM. It runs on ColorOS 1.2.0 based on Android 4.3 OS.
It has a lesser internal storage capacity of 16 GB but it is expandable via microSD card. Camera modules in the Find 7a more-or-less remains identical to the Find 7. It features 13-megapixel IMX214 Sony sensor with dedicated ISP, Dual-mode LED, Aperture f/2.0 and a 5MP front-facing camera with BSI sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The Find 7a can also shoot video at 4K resolution.
Connectivity options also remain the same USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, 5G Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, GLONASS and NFC support. The handset measures 152.6 ×75 × 9.2 mm and weighs little lighter than the Find 7 at 170 grams and it is powered by a 2,800 mAh (Rapid Charge) which is enabled with VOOC rapid charging system.
