Among all the Chinese smartphone makers, which include Lenovo, Huawei, Gionee and ZTE, Oppo has been quite instrumental in impressing the smartphone users. The company has an excellent sense of using innovation in a remarkable way.
The company's previously launched N1 smartphone, which featured a rotating 16MP camera did make a massive impact on the heterogeneous fans. Now another device from Oppo, which is being awaited by many is obviously the Find 7, the first device with a QHD display. But the company will take a while to launch the handset.
Thus to keep the brand name rolling in the market Oppo has now put up the stripped down variant of the Find 7 smartphone called the Find 7a (16GB model) for pre-order globally. The smartphone is globally rolled out for pre-order, but in India it is not yet available and the customers in the US and Europe have got access to pre-book the device for $499 (approx. Rs. 29,977) and €399 (approx. Rs. 32,879) respectively. Moreover customers who pre-order the Find 7a will also receive free gifts like an Easy Style cover, an extra Oppo battery, and a 32GB SanDisk microSD card.
If you look at the price of the device, you will wonder if it is a stripped down variant. In fact, the device is a premium product, which comes with a high-end specs. In short, the Find 7a comes with a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels as opposed to the QHD panel of the Find 7. Other specs include, company's proprietary Color OS, which is based on Android Jelly Bean, LTE support, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, and a 2,800 mAh Li-Po battery.
The device looks like an excellent one with almost all the specs matched to compete against the latest ones available in the market. Moreover, even the LTE support has been incorporated in the device. Thus it will likely be one of the-best-to-buy handset so far.
