Oppo Announces New Lollipop-based Color OS 2.1 with Several Improvements

Today, the Chinese handset manufacturer Oppo conducted the launch event in Beijing, when the China-based handset maker unleashed two new smartphones Oppo R7 and R7 Plus. Along with the smartphones, the company also revealed its latest version of its own Color OS -- Color OS 2.1.

Oppo Announces New  Lollipop-based Color OS 2.1

There are major changes are done to the User Interface of Color OS. This new Lollipop based operating system boasts a new, flatter and simpler design. Further, the design has also become brighter and livelier.

Also, the Icons have been redesigned as well, which includes the system apps, custom icons for about 200 popular apps.

Oppo has made some internal changes for faster and responsive UI. And, the company also reduced the boot time from 31 seconds to 19 seconds in this update.

Moreover, this updates comes optimized for faster app launches, as well as several popular third-party applications, which should be a lot more-fluid.
