Oppo N1 Mini, N2 Under Development [Report]
China's smartphone maker Oppo is slowly and gradually making great strides in the global smartphone race with its newly announced Find 7. Oppo may be little known outside the Asian sub-continent, but the fast-growing handset manufacturer is at the forefront of a new wave of Chinese brands challenging their global counterparts.

Off late, the emerging smartphone maker has been in the limelight with the launch of Find 7, a QHD 2K phone. The high-end variant of the Find 7 features a 5.5-inch QHD display, with a resolution sitting at 2560 x 1440.

Although Oppo Find 7 received positive reviews to a great extent, in the meantime, the company has already begun working on new devices slated to hit retail shelves sometime in 2014. Chinese handset manufacturer is reportedly gearing up to release two new sizzling handsets, notably an Oppo N1 Mini and Oppo N2.
Oppo N1 Mini Leaked
According to a report that surfaced straight out of China, Oppo is indeed planning to release a miniature version of the Oppo N1. The mini variant of the handset will reportedly come packing either a MediaTek MT6592 processor or a Samsung Exynos 5422 chip and will launch in LTE and non-LTE variants.

The report further says the N1 Mini will sport a 5-inch display, which by today's standards fall under a phablet. Oppo looks to make this a mid-tier device so it may come with a mid-tier price.
Previous rumors in the past suggested that the N1 Mini might hit retail shelves in May or June time frame. In fact, a report from Hardware Zone does claim that the N1 Mini will retain a similar designs that of the N1, alongside the rotating camera.
‘Oppo N1' Sequel On the Cards
Moreover, the Chinese smartphone maker is apparently planning a sequel to the original N1, which was launched way back in late 2013. The forthcoming phone is currently dubbed as the Oppo N2, if reports are to be believed. So far there are no images of the actual handset that have been leaked and not many information on the features are available to public. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
