Oppo R1C: Sapphire Crystal Back Phone to Launch as Oppo R1x Worldwide in April

Chinese handset maker, Oppo who announced R1C at the CES 2015 back at January in China market, is now releasing as Oppo R1X globally. This sleek smartphone employs the same high strength CNC frame like its previous outing R5.

One of the most interesting feature in this smartphone is that, it has a sapphire made back panel, with UV embossing on the layer, under the glass creating different light reflections. Moreover, this handset has the same specification of the R1C device which is available in China.

Oppo R1X - Key Specifications

Oppo R1X, sports a 5 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 processor, with four A63 CPU cores, clocked at 1.7GHz and another four at 1.0 GHz along with 2GB of RAM.

On the storage department, this device is equipped with 16GB of built-in memory, with an expansion option of up to 128GB via microSD card slot. Moving on to the imaging factor, R1X features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front snapper for video conferencing and selfies.

Moreover, this device is shipped with Android KitKat 4.4 on top of its very own custom OS Color OS 2.0.1 and it is powered by a 2420 mAh battery.
Coming in Ice White and Sapphire Blue, Oppo R1X will hit the international market around April.

Although, the price of this smartphone is not officially announced, we are expecting it in the range of around $450 (approx Rs. 28,025)
