Oppo is one of those primary Chinese handset names in the market that are expected to go big in the feature. While the lots of new names have already started hitting big scores in the smartphone market, Oppo is also one among the newest to hit the ground running.
Oppo has launched a new mid-range device dubbed as Oppo R1C, which is the successor of Oppo R1. This R1C comes with gold rim on the sides in white version, while the blue version comes with silver rim. Initially it seems like, it will be released in China.
Oppo R1C - Key Specifications
Oppo R1C features 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels. It is clocked at 1.5 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor with Adreno 405 GPU along with 2GB of RAM. Also, it comes with 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
This device employs 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX214 Exmor RS sensor and f/2.0 aperture, 5MP front-facing camera. Oppo known for its form factor, this smartphone comes with 6.85mm thickness and weighs 130 grams. It runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) on top of Color OS 2.0.
On the connectivity, this dual SIM (micro + nano) supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and powered with 2420mAh battery.
Priced at 2499 Chinese Yuan (approx Rs. 25,060) it will go on sale on the official Oppo online store from Jan 20. But there is no official announcement about the global roll-out yet.
