Oppo Teases Upcoming R7 Smartphone With Metal Design

Oppo may have been long absent from the premium handset range after the debacle of its Find 7, but that doesn't deter the company's confidence in the high-end smartphone category.

According to local media reports, Oppo much expected high-end phone, the R7, is likely to be launched during later this month in China. The handset is expected to be launched during a 20 May event in Beijing, China.

Just a day back, we told you that the Oppo R7 has been certified in China. We also got to know that the R7 won't have a bezel-less display we were hoping for.

A new teaser posted by the company has apparently confirms that the Oppo R7 will come with a metal unibody design. Contrary to rumours and leaks, the Oppo R7 would be 6.3mm thin, instead of being super skinny unlike its predecessor - the Oppo R5.

The Oppo R7 will feature the following key technical aspects:

• 5.0-inch Full HD display
• Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor
• 3GB of RAM
• Android 4.4 KitKat
• 13MP rear-facing camera
• 8MP front-facing shooter
• Large Battery

In addition, the phone will feature the 2.5D screen and super-narrow bezels. Moreover, the R7 will bring a metallic design, like another premium handset in its R series.
