Panasonic takes the smartphone world by storm with the selfie-focused phone, called "ELUGA S". The new Android smartphone from Panasonic, rivaling the Lava Iris Selfie 50 targeted at the mid-range smartphone buyer.
A distinguishing feature that gives the device its rather unique feature is the 5MP front-facing camera. The smartphone features eye-definition ‘BLINK PLAY' that lets one click selfies or groupies instantly.
The device comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display. It is powered by True Octa Core (1.4GHz) processor, and runs on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat mobile operating system.
The device offers 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The ELUGA S smartphone sports an 8MP FHD rear-facing camera. The handset is stuffed with a 2100 mAh battery fitted inside.
Manish Sharma, Managing Director, Panasonic India said, that the company's ELUGA smartphone range "has certainly raised the bar of standard to a great level and has the potential to succeed in the Indian market. This is the third phone is the ELUGA series which defines our willingness to embrace new technology in a market like India. As we launch new devices, we will continue to innovate for our customers."
The ELUGA S is priced at Rs 11,190, and will go on sale from third week of November.
