Trying to make up with the smartphone race in the Indian market, Panasonic has again come up with their second smartphone called P11. The standard sized phablet is already up for pre-orders in Flipkart at an intermediate price of Rs. 16,690. Moreover, the e-retailer claims the release date of the device to be on the third week of July. But now the same retailer says the product to be "Out of Stock".
However, talking about the specs, the Panasonic P11 comes with a 5.0-inch IPS and capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM.
To look at the camera section the P11 comes packed with an 8.0-megapixel auto-focus camera accompanied by a LED flash at the back and a 1.3-megapixel front camera. The internal storage capacity comes with a 4GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB with the help of microSD card. The Panasonic P11 also supports dual SIM functionality (GSM+GSM) and apart for it connectivity section include 3G, WiFi, USB and Bluetooth.
The phablet is powered by a 2,000mAh battery and comes with an interchangeable back covers which the retailer says is "Out of Stock" when you click the pre-order tag. Not only that but Panasonic is also trying to increase their smartphone portfolio as one more device has been spotted with the name of Panasonic T11 on the same e-retail site under the coming soon tag.
However, this one sports a 4.0-inch WVGA IPS display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels. The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and backed by 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform. The smartphone comes with a dual SIM support (GSM + GSM).
The T11 also comes with a 5MP rear camera which is loaded with autofocus and LED flash along with a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera. The Panasonic T11 is expected to be a mid-segment device. Connectivity sections include 3G, WiFi, USB and Bluetooth.
Other features include a 4GB internal storage that can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card and comes with 1,500mAh battery. Perhaps, the two handsets are really gonna bring the Panasonic up to the limelight and specially these handsets will join the quad core gang in the Indian smartphone market with the likes of Xolo Q series. Most of the homegrown devices are going to be quite adverst to these latest handsets.
