Panasonic P55: Mid-End Smartphone With 5.5 Inch HD Display Launched in India at Rs 10,290
The growth in smartphones will continue to surge in the emerging countries like India and China. As the smartphone adoption rate continues to rise in India, Panasonic today launched its latest mid-end smartphone, the P55, at a price of Rs. 10,290.
The Japanese giant says the new P55 gives our consumers the ability to operate their smartphone seamlessly while meeting the easily accessibility aspect.

As far as the phone's specs are concerned, the Panasonic P55 is a 5.5-inch handset. It has a fairly large screen having a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (unspecified), paired with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of inbuilt storage and a microSD card slot.
In the camera section, the handset sports an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED Flash. Also, add a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. Moreover, the makers have added a 2500mAh battery fitted inside.
Connectivity options on the phone include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS and more.
The Panasonic P55 also features Tap Play, which allows users to wake up the phone without pressing the physical power button, and Gesture Play.
Buyers have been waiting to know when they'll be able to get one, and we can now happily report that the device will be made available for purchase in the first week of November.
