Panasonic T11, T21 and P11 Released in India: Difference Between the New Android Trios Explained
After appearing for the first time in July, Panasonic P11 and T11 went for sale online just a week ago. However, today the Japanese company officially launched the devices in the Indian market at the price of Rs. 16,490 and Rs. 9,790 respectively.
Not only that but the company also launched the third handset at the same time called T21 at Rs. 13,990. P11 is currently selling at Rs 15,590 and T11 at Rs. 9,520. Panasonic's bestselling handset P51 has actually opened the door for the company to excel in the smartphone business in India. However, the company has already announced its exit from the mobile handset business in Japan a month ago. All these mid-range devices come running on Android Jelly Bean platform and features dual SIM support, which is the most demanded feature in India.

Display
The three devices T11, T21 and P11 comes with ascending display size. The Panasonic T11 comes with a 4-inch WVGA display offering a resolution of 480×800 pixels. Panasonic T21 features 4.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels and the Panasonic P11 is a phablet with 5-inch HD IPS display offering the same 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

OS, Processor and RAM
All three devices run on same Android Jelly Bean 4.1 Operating System and same 1GB RAM. However, the difference lies in the processor. Out of three the T11 and P11 are powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, while the T21 features 1.2 GHz dual-core Broadcom 28145 processor.
Camera
P11 comes with a 8 MP rear camera with Auto Focus and Flash along with 2.0 MP front facing camera. T11 features 5 MP rear camera with Auto Focus and Flash along with 0.3 MP front camera. But the third one T21 comes with a better imaging quality with 8 MP rear camera with Auto Focus and Flash and 2.0 MP front camera. It is also capable of recording video at 1080p full HD quality. Thus For camera oriented consumers, Panasonic T21 should be a preferred choice.
Connectivity
All three devices come with a regular connectivity features like Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS. Apart from that all three devices come with dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support.
Storage and Battery
Same 4GB internal storage capacity which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card is found in all the three phones. When it comes to battery the T11 is powered by a 1500mAh, T21 by 1700mAh and P11 is powered by 2000mAh rechargeable Lithium battery.
Dimension
Panasonic T11 features 9.2mm thickness and weighs 120 grams; Panasonic T21 measures 9.8mm thick and weighs 140 grams; Panasonic P11 comes measuring 9.7mm thick and weighs 160 grams.
Conclusion
After having a look at the specs of all the three handset, it is evident that T21 is specially made for users who are more into using camera of the smartphone but comes with a lesser processor. However, this device falls in between the P11 and T11 in price, display and battery as well. Everything else remains the same. Users looking for a larger display and powerful processor can go for P11 with 5 inch display while the other who want the same power at a lesser price might have to compromise on the display and get T11 with 4 inch screen.
However, all these phones some with standard specs. Thus depending on the need, buyers can opt. Moreover, all three phones come pre-loaded with popular Apps such as ToI and ET news application, Hungama music, WeChat, CamCard and CamScanner utility applications. The Panasonic P11 has changeable back covers in multiple colors. However, all these phones will be available across India from the third week of September, 2013.
