Vega will have an 8 Mega pixel main camera and a 1.3 Mega pixel front facing camera. The front facing camera can be used for making video calls and also for taking self portraits. The phone offers 16GB internal storage memory. This large amount of internal memory would mean that there would be no need for further addition of external memory cards. There is enough space for all your music, pictures and documents and still there will be a lot of space left for you to play around with. It has an 1830mAh battery so it would ensure sufficient standby as well as talk time. The phone surely has an interesting combination of specs.

This cutting edge gesture control was developed as a result of Pantech’s alliance with the Israel based company eyesight. h free controls for digital electronic equipments including desktops, gaming consoles etc. So the obvious fact is that they were also responsible for the development of hands free control for Pantech mobiles. The hands free controls are made possible by making use of the phones front camera. So this technology can be used in any device having a front facing camera and which packs in eyesight technology. This system is so effective that it can even work with VGA cameras.

When we thought that multi touch was the thing of the future Pantech has paved a new way for the top mobile manufactures to follow. We can very well expect off shoots from this branch.

So far, the phone is only meant for the Korean market but there are news that it will be made available in the US and foreign markets in the near future.
