South Korean mobile phone manufacturer, Pantech has recently announced its new Vega Secret Note. The device was leaked just a day ago showing a fingerprint sensor. The phablet comes as a direct competitor with the recently released Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Moreover, when it comes to display size Galaxy Note 3 looses with 2 inches as the new Vega Secret Note comes with a 5.9 inch display offering 1920×1080 Full HD resolution .

Pantech Vega Secret Note runs on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor which is similar to the Galaxy Note 3. Moreover, even the RAM size of 3 GB is present. One will also find the stylus support in the phablet which Pantech calls, V Pen. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.

In addition this Galaxy Note 3 like Vega Secret Note also is said to feature a fingerprint scanner on the rear side and an array of security-enhancing features.

When it comes to the imaging technology, there is a 13 MP rear-facing camera along with a 2 MP secondary snapper in the device.

The internal storage capacity of the handset is apparently rated at 32 GB which can be expanded via microSD card. Believe it or not, it can be expanded up to 2 TB.

The Vega Secret Note has a fingerprint sensor on its rear. But aside from simply unlocking the device, it also serves as a way to reveal a hidden set of data such as phonebook entries, photos, videos, music, and others.

The smartphone also some other interesting features such as LTE-A support, TV viewing via Korea's DMB technology, and a custom tile-based homescreen launcher that looks quite similar to some other mobile operating system. The handset is powered by a 3,200 mAh battery.

The smartphone also has a cover accessory that sports a small window where you can use the stylus to write notes on the smartphone, similar to what Samsung also has for its own stylus-enabled phablet.

Sadly, although it is officially announced, there is no information pertaining to the on date or availability of the device yet. However, the Pantech Vega Secret Note is said to be priced at 900,000 won, or around $840 (approx. Rs. 52,046).
