Senior citizens are not at all convinced byy the standard phones available in the market due to their small font sizes, complex user interfaces, short battery life and fragility.
Targetting the senior citizens, Philips Mobile today announced the launch of two new Philips Mobile feature phones namely E310 and E160.
The successor of the Philips X2566, the E310 has been designed for senior citizens based on feedback from over 10,000 consumer across the world.
The phone has a reduced thickness of 16mm, making it convenient and light to hold. The phone also has a 1630 mAH battery that supports a total talktime of 25 hours and 50 days of standby time.
The phone comes with a 0.3 MP camera and FM support. As with the X2566, the phone comes with a ‘Magnifier', ‘SOS function' and Powerful Flashlight.
The Philips E160 features world-class technology in a compact package, including dual SIM support. The phone supports up to 8 hours of talk time, and 35 days of standby time.
The phone comes with several entertainment rich feature a 0.3 MP Digital Camera an MP3 Player, FM Radio, 3.5 mm audio jack, and Bluetooth. It has a memory of 8MB and a MicroSD memory card slot with support of up to 16 GB capacity.

Priced at Rs. Rs. 3,200 and Rs. 1,700 for E310 and E160 respectively, it will be available across India soon.
