Philips Xenium W8510: Android Smartphone With 3,300mAh Battery Offers 35 Days of Standby Time

Dutch electronics giant Philips is coming up with a smartphone having 3,300mAh battery inside. The Philips Xenium W8510 is said to be the only smartphone which can last around 35 days on standby mode. The phone's battery is so powerful that over 3G, you get 18 hours of talk time. And over Wi-Fi, it is proficient to give 14 hours of browsing time.

Another great feature of this very handset is that how fast you can charge the device. For instance, if you charge the phone for 10 minutes then probably, it will last for around 20 hours on standby mode and up to 2 hours of calling. If charged for 30 minutes, gives you 57 hours on standby mode, and 6 hours of calling time guaranteed ( via CNMO).

Philips Xenium W8510 Packs 3300mAh Battery and 35 Days of Standby time

Apart from solid battery placed inside, the Philips Xenium W8510 is a regular phone with a 4.7-inch 720p HD display. Inside the phone, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (MediaTek) coupled with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card). There's an 8-mega pixel camera with built-in Auto Focus and LED Flash light and 2-mega pixel front facing camera on the front panel. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. Other highlighted features include: 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack and A-GPS, amongst others.

Well, as of now the Philips Xenium W8510 is expected to arrive in China. Internationally, Philips is selling its smartphone range in select countries. Whether India is getting this smartphone is out of question at this moment.
