Following the Mi 3 and Redmi 1s, Xiaomi's Flash Sale magic continues yet again in the e-commerce site Flipkart. Xiaomi had started the registration for the Redmi Note few days back and announced that its first 5000 registered members will automatically have the handset added to their cart. Today, Xiaomi's has launched its Redmi Note on Flipkart and guess what! All the 50,000 Redmi Note units sold out in just 6 seconds. Those who have managed to click the buy button, will have to make the payment by 6 PM.
Priced at Rs. 8,999, Xiaomi's Redmi comes with dual SIM slots, 5.5-inch 720p display and it is clocked at 1.7GHz MediaTek octa-core processor alongside 2GB of RAM. Redmi Note has in-built storage of 8GB, which can be expandable upto 32GB via microSD card. The handset has 13MP rear camera, 5MP front snapper for selfies and video conferencing calls. Further, it runs on Xiaomi's MIUI 5 interface, and is powered by 3100mAH battery.
Via social networking site Twitter, Hugo Barra has mentioned "Mi India: Redmi Note out of stock in 6 secs today! @Flipkart @MiIndiaOfficial"
