RIP iPhone 5C: Apple to Stop Production in 2015

Looks like Apple's most colorful iPhone 5C, launched in 2013 as a mini iPhone 5 was not able create any major market waves in terms of sales for the Cupertino-tech giant.

This can be said, as a new report by Taiwan's Industrial and Commercial Time hints the Steve Job's company is planning to stop the production of iPhone 5C by as soon as early next year.

According to the highly reliable KGI securities analysts Ming-Chi-Kuo, Apple will stop making iPhone 5C and iPhone 4S once the promotional plans are over.

If rumors are to be believed, after the departure of these two models, all the iPhones will feature Touch sensor ID.

Touted in vivid colors and plastic body, iPhone 5C sports a 4.0 inch display along with a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels. Further, iPhone 5C has A6 chipset along with 1.3 GHZ swift dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8 MP rear camera and 1.2 MP front camera for facetime and selfies.

In India, Apple iPhone 5C was doing an average sale at a price of Rs 41,900 and Rs 53,499 for 16GB and 32GB. But now its time for iPhone 6 to hit the Apple fanboys out here. Hence, putting a halt on the production of iPhone 5C can make way for the iPhone 6 sale globally. .
