After a lot of rumors and leaks being circulated in the world of Internet , it seems like South Korean handset manufacturer Samsung has decided to launch its new series so-called Galaxy A. Samsung has finally launched the much awaited Galaxy A3 and A5 in Taiwan, while the latter is already available in some countries including Russia and China.
Samsung Galaxy A5 offers an improved hardware specification when compared to the Galaxy A3.The Galaxy A5 sports a 5-inch 720p display, clocked by 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 SoC alongside 2 GB of RAM.
It supports 16GB of built-in memory with an expansion via microSD card slot, 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP snapper at the front, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 2,300 mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box.
While, the Galaxy A3 is crafted with a rather small 4.5-inch screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Although, Samsung has included the same A5 processor in the A3 model, the RAM has been squeezed down to 1.5 GB. It features a 8MP rear camera along with 5MP as front facing camera. Due to shortened form factors, Samsung yet again disappoints with a 1,900 mAh battery.
Both A3 and A5 variants is available in Black, white and gold respectively, Galaxy A5 is marked at a price of $380 (Rs. 24,038 approx) while the A3 is set for $287 (Rs. 18,155 approx). Gear up folks! As Samsung will announce the global release of its next wave of smartphones, real soon.
