South Korean Company Samsung has launched the Galaxy A series earlier this year sporting a metallic body. According to the recent news, the company is said to be working on the successor of the Galaxy A7, which is so-called as A8(SM-A800).
If the rumor turns out to be true, the company will release Galaxy A8 in the Asian and European markets. Further, rumors state that, Galaxy A8 might house a fingerprint sensor for security purpose.
Moving on to the specifications of the device, A8 is expected to sport a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080p display, powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset along with 2GB RAM, powered by a 3050mAh battery.
Moreover, Galaxy A8 is said to carry a 16MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera along with 16GB of internal memory. On the software front, it might shipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop on top of TouchWiz UX along 4G LTE support.
As of now, there is no official announcement on the pricing and availability of the device, but we are expecting more details in the upcoming days.
