Samsung today announced the addition of elegant and sophisticated ‘Sleek Silver' color to the Galaxy Alpha smartphone range. The Galaxy Alpha is now available in four exciting colors including Sleek Silver, Charcoal Black, Dazzling White and Frosted Gold.
The new color variant of the handset looks pretty premium and unique as well. Other Galaxy Alpha color models are currently selling in India at the price of Rs. 38,900 from the official Samsung store. However, via other online retailers, you will get the device at the price as low as Rs. 37,999. The new color variant of the Galaxy Alpha should be similarly priced.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha: Key Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha comes with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display offering a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos (1.8 GHz Quad + 1.3GHz Quad) processor coupled with 2GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4.4 (KitKat).
Photography aspect in the phone is pretty decent. It uses 12MP rear camera with LED Flash capable of recording video at 4K quality and at the front you will get to see a 2.1MP snapper. The Galaxy Alpha houses 32GB of internal memory, but lacks a micro SD card slot.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE-A Cat.6 / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2X2 MIMO), Bluetooth v4.0 LE, GPS and NFC. Moreover, like the Galaxy S5 the latest Alpha also sports an S Health 3.0 software along with a Heart rate sensor. The 6.7mm thick smartphone that weighs 115 grams is powered by a 1860 mAh Battery.
