Design and Display
We haven't got a clue as to how the smartphone might look. However, reports have claimed a body with 8.8 mm thickness. It's also said to have a 4.5-inch display with a PLS capacitive touchscreen and 207 ppi pixel density. But that's all we know
Camera
The new Galaxy Core Prime handset is expected to feature a more or less industry-standard camera in the form of a 5 MP primary camera with autofocus and LED flash. Apparently, the handset will also be capable of shooting 1080p videos. Apart from that, it's also expected to offer a 2MP front facing camera.
Operating System
No surprises here as the new Galaxy Core Prime is expected to run on the Android KitKat operating system. And moreover, we weren't really expecting the brand new Lollipop OS to run on it anyway. But we can guess that the handset will be open to future updates where it will indeed be upgraded to the Android L.
Processor and RAM
The Galaxy Core Prime is expected to arrive with quad core 1.3 GHz CPU. And that's quite the offering considering you will need a handset with powerful backup for apps and games. The handset is also said to offer 1GB of RAM with 8GB of built-in memory. It will also be able to support microSD up to 64GB.
Battery and Release
The battery unit in the Galaxy Core Prime is said to be a decent 2000 mAh. This means you can expect the battery to last at least one whole day without much issues related to battery consumption. And as far as a release date is concerned, we are expecting the handset to release before the end of the current year.
