Samsung's Galaxy Core Prime has finally made its debut in India. The mid ranger which was supposed to go official earlier this month is now listed on the company's India official e-store, at a price of Rs. 9,700.

Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime was reportedly priced at Rs. 9,599. More recently, the device was also seen listed on Flipkart for Rs. 8,499. As of now, the Galaxy Core Prime is currently out of stock at Samsung's official India web store.

Samsung Galaxy Core Prime sports a 4.5-inch WVGA PLS LCD display, and is 8.8 mm thin. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor of unknown make coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM. The storage capacity can be expanded by a microSD card slot (up to 64GB).

There's a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, autofocus lens, 1080p video recording, and a 2-megapixel front-facing secondary camera.

In the name of connectivity, you get to see an accelerometer, proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, and a 2,000 mAh battery. The handset runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat.

The Galaxy Core Prime has been positioned as a product for budget conscious crowd. Not necessarily, the Galaxy Core Prime is the best option, but it appears to be a fair device for those who cannot the high-end models available onto market.
