Samsung isn't done putting out new devices in the Galaxy Grand lineup, as it is now teasing a new Galaxy Grand smartphone over in India. According to a teaser sent out by the company in India, it is gearing up to launch "the Grandest Ever" device, and all signs point toward the fact that the Galaxy Grand 3 will soon be made official in the country. The Galaxy Grand 3 was quite active in the rumor mills last year but Samsung never announced it; instead, we were treated to the Galaxy Grand Prime, which was more or less a Grand 2 but with a high-resolution front-facing camera.
Do take a glance at the features where the Galaxy Grand 3 might overpower it predecessor.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 also sports a 5.25-inch screen with a 720p display just as it is predecessor, Galaxy Grand 2, who also sports the same size display. As much as we can predict there won't be any change in the screen size.
Processors might differ in the new flagship of Samsung. The Galaxy Grand 3 might be showcased in MWC 2015. It might have a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 processor, which is more powerful than the the Galaxy Grand 2's processor which sports a a 1.2GHz qualcomm processor.
Looks like the Grand 3 will have more storage capacity as it might get manufactured with 1.5GB of RAM and support 16GB of internal storage which can be expandable. Where as the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 also sports an 1.5GB Ram but continues to have 8GB onboard storage with only 5.19 GB accessible for use.
The Grand 3 will flaunt an 13MP camera rear camera with flash and have a 5MP front snapper. On the other hand we can see that the Galaxy Grand 2 has a 8MP rear camera with an 1.9MP Front snapper which is rather disappointing from Samsung's end.
It's not clear if the Galaxy Grand 3 will run Android KitKat, or Android Lollipop at launch, but we certainly hope to see the latter. The Grand 2 is still running on Android Kitkat as Samsung promises to roll out Lollipop for it soon.
The Galaxy Grand 2 is juiced by a 2600mAh battery which can last for a day without recharge and is a pretty decent but we guess that Samsung will a bit more powerful battery in its Galaxy Grand 3.
