Rumors have been rife that Samsung will soon announce the successor to the Galaxy Grand 2. Though the company hasn't announced the device yet, rumor mills are already working double time to round up rumors about a possible Galaxy Grand 3 release date this month.

Now, the forthcoming Galaxy Grand 3 made a visit to TENNA in China. There's a likelihood that Samsung would launch the Grand 3 in the coming days to come.

According to the Chinese regulator, the Galaxy Grand 3 sports a 5.25-inch 720p HD quality display, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable memory. Also, adds a 13MP rear camera, and a 5MP front-facing shooter.

The handset is thinner and lighter than its predecessor. Its measures 7.95 mm thick, while it weighs in at 140 grams

Reports about Galaxy Grand 2 successor could be accurate, considering that original device now looks dated compared to other phones in the same league. The Grand 2 was a successful device, which went on sale in India earlier this year.

With the Galaxy Grand 3, Samsung will surely bounce back from previous month's showing primarily brought about by the somewhat negative sentiments around the failure of Galaxy S5.

The Grand series has a special place among Samsung's core users. We hope Samsung will soon announce the Galaxy Grand 3 in India. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
