Galaxy Grand: Samsung Jelly Bean Phablet Now Shipping in India With Attractive Freebies
With the increasing demand for low priced large screen handsets, a lot of manufacturers are pushing in budget phablets into the market. Both local and global mobile makers are introducing economic Android based phablets into the Indian market.
Well, known native handset manufactures including Micromax, Intex, Karbonn, Lava, Wickedleak and Zync alongside Samsung - the world's largest smartphone maker have entered into a battle when it comes to affordable dual SIM phablets.
On January 22, 2013, Samsung has stepped into the affordable phablet market in India with the launch of Galaxy Grand Duos - its dual SIM phablet. Estimated to be shipped in the first week of this month, Galaxy Grand Duos has started shipping today itself for Rs 21,500.
As far as specs are concerned, Galaxy Grand Duos features a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, 1.2GHz dual core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB onboard storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 64GB additional storage, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a 2,100 mAh battery.

The handset comes preloaded with applications including ChatOn, which is Samsung's unique cross-platform communication service and several other applications like Games Hub, My Services that will offer myMovies, myMusic, myMobileTV, myStation, myReader and myEducation.
Galaxy Grand Duos also comes with exclusive S features being an younger kin to Galaxy Note 2. The software features includes Direct Call, S Voice, S Beam, Smart Alert, Smart Stay, Pop-up Play, Buddy Share and more.
Also, the handset comes with Smart Dual SIM feature, which allows users to manage two SIM cards at ease. The device also comes with multi-window feature as in Note 2.
As an introductory offer, Galaxy Grand will come with an original Flip Cover, with preloaded My Services from where users can download music and movies through worth Rs 8,000 for free, 50GB free Dropbox cloud storage space and 2GB Vodafone 3G data download free per month for 2 months.
