Until now, Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Grand Neo was a hidden mystery but not anymore, if the folks over at GSMArena are to be believed.
After several leaks and months of speculation, it seems that Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo will be announced anytime from now, at least, in Europe.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo sits right between the original Galaxy Grand and Grand 2.
According to a new published report, the Galaxy Grand Neo has been revealed via a promotional marketing catalogue. The leak internal document clearly defines internal hardware details and unique selling point (USP) of the upcoming mid-range Android-shooter.
The Galaxy Grand Neo comes with a 5-inch WVGA TFT display having a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The soon-to-be announced phablet will include a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, backed by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which later can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
There's a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with an LED Flash and a VGA quality front-facing camera for taking selfies.
Other connectivity features include: Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio and A-GPS, among others. However, the phone does not have a built-in 4G LTE connectivity.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo will be powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box with Touch UI on the top. The makers have added a 2,100mAh battery fitted inside. The phone measures 9.6mm in terms of thickness and weighs 146g.
The device appears to look no different from the existing Galaxy Grand; however, Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo is now slimmer and polished with upgraded exterior look.
Samsung's hasn't revealed its plans to announce the device in any country so far. The above mentioned specifications syncs with the previous rumors surrounding for a while.
Once again, the Galaxy Grand Neo will be a mid-range Android device with decent hardware. Expect the device to land in India at a price of Rs. 19,000, which seems fair for a mid-range 5-inch Samsung branded phone.
