The wait is finally over...as the details of Samsung's upcoming Fonblet, is now finally getting enriched in colours. Well, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 have been spotted bySam Mobile.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 is a giant handset with large display measuring 5.8-inches. While the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, is yet another mammoth handset with screen size measuring 6.3 -inches. It seems both handsets aren't on a higher side in terms of internals, but they definitely stand tall among newly launched Android handsets.
The retail availability of these very devices is expected to be June this year. Unlike Samsung Galaxy S series, which is on a higher -side both in terms of specifications, and styling; the Mega, as the same suggests big screen handsets with mediocre internals.
According to Sam Mobile, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8(GT-i9152) will come with a 5.8-inch qHD display with resolution of 960 X 540 pixels, Dual SIM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (upgradable to Android 4.2), Wi-Fi, 1.4-GHh dual core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, an 8-mega pixel rear camera, 2-mega pixel front facing camera, and 2,600mAh battery fitted inside.
Whether there is a 4G LTE version planned as well, is still unknown. Going by the specifications, it fits in- between high-end and mid-end. Once again, whether India gets this handset in June is again a valid question. It will be priced around Rs.24, 000, as per GizBot estimates.
The next in the line is one big slab with screen size measuring 6.3-inches. The device could be your next Android based handheld console. A Korean website reports alleged specification leak of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3.
The device is said to have a 6.3-inch qHD display, dual core processor, Wi-Fi, an 8-mega pixel rear camera, 2-mega pixel front facing camera, and will be available in two colours: Black and White.
How Samsung differentiates Galaxy Grand with Galaxy Mega? Currently, there is only one single handset under Galaxy Grand; a Single SIM version and Dual SIM. Even specifications wise, the Grand Galaxy seems closer to the upcoming Galaxy Mega series.
