Just a couple of hours from now Samsung will launch it's latest Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear in India. These devices were globally announced at the IFA 2013 earlier this month. We will feed you with the update on the launch in the coming hours. However, in the Samsung's Official Hong Kong Site recently, Galaxy Mega 6.3 has been spotted in a Xperia like purple color variant.
The purple variant of the Galaxy Mega 6.3 has been seen only in Hong Kong so far and there is no sign of the variant being shipped to other countries so far. However, tech world is expecting the variant to come to other markets as well and most of the reports suggest that the variant is going to come soon.
To talk more about this Purple Galaxy Mega 6.3, it comes with 4G LTE support and the remaining specifications remains unaltered. Thus it will come with a regular 6.3 inch TFT capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It has got a combination of 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual core processor, Adreno 305 and 1.5GB RAM and runs on Android Jelly Bean v4.2.2 operating System. The device also features TouchWiz UI.
The massive phablet comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and auto focus along with a 1.9MP camera on the front side of the body for video chat and self portrait. Connectivity options include GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2G/3G, and USB. The Phablet house an internal storage capacity of 8GB and up to 64GB expandable memory. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is powered by a Li-Ion 3200 mAh battery. Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is also sold in Black and White color options. The regular variant is currently priced at Rs. 27,999 in India.
Moreover, even smaller Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 is speculated to be released in purple, but we haven't seen this version anywhere just yet.
