Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear Launch Event Live Streaming: Watch Here

Last Thursday, GizBot ran an exclusive story saying that Samsung would host a launch event for the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear in India on September 17, which happens to be today. The big day is here and Samsung is about to launch its most awaited products in India. However, these devices are already up for pre-orders on the official Site. The launch event will be taking place in Delhi at 12:15 PM and GizBot will be covering the event from ground zero to keep you informed about the devices as soon as possible. The South Korean giant had announced these two devices in IFA event earlier this month. Moreover, India is among the first few nations to get Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear. We expect Samsung to launch Galaxy Note 3 at Rs. 47,990 and Galaxy Gear at Rs. 26,900.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3

The device runs on Android v.4.3 Jelly Bean and features 5.7-inch Full Super AMOLED HD format having Full HD resolution. There's a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 chipset quad-core / 1.9GHz Exynos Octa-core SoC. India will receive the Snapdragon 800 version along with 16GB flash storage. Moreover, Samsung Note 3 will also pack a 13MP rear facing camera with smart optimization and a 2MP front facing camera. The device is also capable of recording videos in 4K resolution. RAM stands at 3GB and Indian variant comes with 16GB of ROM (expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card). Connectivity options include: Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, MHL 2.0, and more. Samsung worked hard on the aesthetics as well as the build quality. The device supports improved S Pen. The device is powered by a 3,200mAh Li Ion battery.

Samsung Galaxy Gear

Samsung Galaxy Gear will come with a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display which will offer a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. Under the hood, there is a single core 800MHZ processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. Samsung promises up to 25 + hours of battery backup. Samsung Galaxy Gear comes in six must have colors. The watch also comes with a 1.9-mega pixel BSI sensor and 10-second 720p HD video recording is also possible. The makers have added a 315mAh non-removable battery.
