Samsung Mystery Device Leaks Showing Metallic Chassis: Could It Be Galaxy Note 3?

|

South Korean tech giant Samsung has been criticized a lot for the incorporation of plastic build on its flagship and high-end models. Though the Samsung devices are a step above the competition when it comes to software, speaking of built quality, they do not fare well.

Following all the crisis, Samsung was circulating on tech headlines over the last week, with reports claiming that the company will be using a unibody metallic design for the Galaxy Note 3. With this rumor, the Twitter user, @evleaks who is well known for revealing the possible renders and specifications of upcoming devices has come up with a series of pictures.

Well, this could be a new Samsung design, but it also could be a fake or even perhaps a non-Galaxy device, such as a future concept for a Tizen phone. Additionally, the design might be different from Samsung's usual style, but it is not completely unique, as the alleged prototype reveals seems to be quite reminiscent to the Nokia Lumia lineup.

Maybe, it could be an early render of the highly rumored Galaxy Note 3, as one of the pictures seem to show a S Pen slot at the bottom.

Anyways, besides these pictures, it is definite that Samsung also wants to get rid of the plastic bodies, which are associated with it for a long time now because its rival smartphone manufacturers have either switched to the metal bodies or are about to do so. For instance, Nokia has showed intentions to use the aluminium body in its future products rather than plastic bodies.
