Back in a day, a senior executive might not have an issue with dull screen. But now the display is the single most important factor being considered when buying a new phone. The Note 3 Neo has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD (720p) display, which is exactly what the Note 2 had. So basically, the screen size is massive; however, it doesn't support a Full HD resolution, like many new high-end handsets.

This is probably the best smartphone display out right there, despite not being a Full HD panel. The reason is understandable- Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo is targeted at business community in general. For them, the display size, the image contrast and color saturation, will be more important any day. In our use, we found that text, images and videos appears extremely sharp and vibrant. Reading content and browsing web on this device was a surprise.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo- Performance Matters After all

The Galaxy Note 3 Neo is powered by Samsung's very own hexa-core SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. The Exynos 5260 hexa-core consists of a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor running at 1.3GHz and a dual-core Cortex-A15 CPU running at 1.7GHz.

Yes indeed, all six cores can be worked together, making the processor blazingly ultra fast. Games run smoothly with solid frame rates. Our review unit had 16GB of expandable on-board storage, out of which 8.91 GB was available for use.

The Note 3 Neo comes with a 3100mAh battery fitted inside. It lasted for more than 36 hours on a single charge. Since the phone features a 720p HD display combining a 3100mAh battery, it can easily last for more than a day.

Call quality on the Note 3 Neo was great. In fact, the device worked well in weak signal areas.

On the downside, the Note 3 Neo doesn't support FM Radio, which is surely a disappointment for many Indians.
