The Galaxy Note 3 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Samsung's native TouchWiz Nature UI on top of it. Unlike other critics, we've have to praise Samsung's efforts to push its core services via TouchWiz Nature UX.

While some people prefer stock Android experience but the company has genuinely worked hard to promote its core services. The Note 3 Neo's UI has been optimized for the S-Pen, a stylus that offers enhanced functionality for business users.

What's great about the UI is that it supports Samsung's famed multi-window. It simply means that you can run two apps simultaneously.

Samsung takes a cue from HTC's native BlinkFeed notification screen. With the Note 3 Neo, you can personalize your feeds, personal content and news on the Home screen itself.

Just like other Galaxy Note products, the Note 3 Neo also features "one handed operations". Basically, by enabling the settings you can use every screen easily with only one hand. You can not only adjust the scale and position of all screens by swiping the edge of the screen, but users can actually position the keypad- and in-calls buttons, calculator, and unlock pattern.

Like the original Galaxy S4, the Note 3 Neo incorporates motion and gesture-control features. Another terrific feature is Air View which let you preview text or e-mails inside a folder when you hover the S-Pen over the screen.

One of the important features of the Note 3 Neo is Air Command. When the S-Pen is in use, it can be pressed to enable an Air Command menu on the screen. The Air Command menu brings Action Memo, Scrap booker, Screen Write, S Finder and Pen Window options.

The ‘scrapbooker' Air Command function let you add images or content from the screen. The S Finder will allow you to search the content with the S-Pen. The ‘Pen Window' Air Command feature, on the other hand, asks you to draw a box on the screen, which opens up a window of multi-tasking apps.

Samsung has added few apps designed to be used with the S-Pen. The most incredible are S Note and Sketchbook. As the name suggests, the S Note is a note taking app. You can add tests, images, videos, audio, clips and even charts.

Sketchbook is a standard drawing app. It's fun to use. The app offers different brush types and support full layers.
