Soon after the global roll out of Galaxy S4, many smartphone enthusiasts seem to be eagerly awaiting for the Galaxy Note 3. Even Samsung appears to be readying the launch of the upcoming phablet.
The tech world has witnessed a plethora of information about the Note 3 and the rumor mills are busily churning more and more details of the phablet. The latest rumor suggests that the Note 3 will come with an Octa core processor and other impressive specifications.
According to a SamMobile report citing anonymous source, the Galaxy Note 3 will use an Exynos 5 Octa 5410 processor with 8 core Mali GPU, 5.99 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 3GB RAM and 13MP rear camera.
When it comes to OS, it seems like Note 3 will be based on the latest version of the Android platform and it depends on what will be announced at the Google I/O, presumably, Android 4.3.
Galaxy Note 3 will evidently be the size of the Galaxy Mega 5.8 with thinner bezels, though its final design is not clear. Its possible that Samsung could ultimately shift to one of the three prototypes - Galaxy S4 like, flexible display and a redesigned prototype that were leaked earlier.
Further, Samsung is rumored to include Sharp IGZO display technology with its own Super AMOLED, which will result in an excellent display rendering with enhanced touch screen sensitivity. The latter will benefit the Note 3 with S Pen stylus which is likely to gain more responsive functions with entry of IGZO into Samsung Galaxy supply chain environment.
However, the tech world will have to wait until August to find out whats real and whats not as Samsung has been pegged to announce the Galaxy Note 2 successor at the IFA 2013 event in Berlin.
